About The Pineywoods Stitchery
Welcome to The Pineywoods Stitchery, a cozy corner where creativity, craftsmanship, and community come together one stitch at a time. What started as my personal creative refuge has grown into a welcoming space for anyone who loves fabric, stories, and the joy of making something with their hands.
Whether you're here to be inspired, explore new techniques, follow tutorials, or simply enjoy the art of quilting, you're in the right place.
You’ll find tutorials, projects, behind-the-scenes looks at my own quilting journey, and plenty of encouragement along the way. My hope is that every visit feels warm, genuine, and full of possibilities.
This is where quilting meets creativity, community, and yes — sometimes a little hope and healing too — but it’s truly for everyone who wants to make something beautiful.
About me:
Tricia "Sweet T" Bentley
Hi, sweet friend. I’m Tricia Bentley, but most folks know me as Sweet T. I’m a quilter, crafter, storyteller, chronic-illness warrior, and the heart behind The Pineywoods Stitchery.
My nieces gave me the nickname years ago, and it stuck because it reflects exactly what I aim to pour into this space: warmth, honesty, faith, and a dash of Southern charm.
After living through more than 30 surgeries, seasons of pain, health challenges, anxiety, depression, and the long road of healing, I found quilting at a moment when I needed hope more than anything. What started as a hobby became a lifeline. It grounded me, soothed me, and helped me stitch together pieces of myself I thought I had lost.
Today, quilting is not just something I do, it’s the way I connect with God, express creativity, and build community. Through tutorials, stories, beginner guides, and heartfelt encouragement, I share what quilting has given me: peace, purpose, and a path toward healing.
If you’re here, it’s on purpose.
Pull up a chair, settle in, and let’s stitch a little grace and joy into the everyday... together.
